    I was thinking the same thing about what washing it would do. I often use too thin a batting and they aren't really very warm. But then I live in the south...

    I love it, I have that fabric, the quilt I'm working on with that fabric is very time consuming.

    I'm sorry you had such troubles making this quilt but I must tell you the end result is wonderful. It's a lovely quilt and I like it a lot.

    This quilt turned out beautifully......your border choice just makes all the colors in the blocks pop. I really like it !

    Its a wonderful quilt. I personally love two layers of cotton batting , preferring weight when I sleep. Two layers of cotton batting is not really that over the top warm.
