WOW! Great block!! She has an eye for colors, they are perfect for the design she made. I love to see a new quilter. It's a wonderful thing to learn.

She's a cutie and a natural quilter. That's such a great block. Amazing choice of colors. What a wonderful, wonderful job she did. I'd be ashamed to show my first block after seeing this!

You have an incredibly talented grand-daughter! She did a fantastic job, and her smile says how proud she is of her work.

What a cutie! She looks deservedly proud of her block. We are all proud of her, too.

The colors she chose are gorgeous. And I like the star. What is the name of it?

Both your DGD and her quilt are beautiful. I hope her block is a winner.

WOW! She did a great job paper piecing and maintained long skinny points so well. The points are fantastic, the junctions are practically perfect and the colors are out of this world! So glad that another young person wants to make quilting part of her interests. Thanks for encouraging your grand daughter, I'm sure her enthusiasm and talent also encourages you and by posting the picture and story, you both encourage all of us.
