    That looks great. It has a real Art Deco look to it. Good luck with the hand quilting, I wish I had your skill and patience.

    Oh my, that is a beautiful quilt!!! I can't believe you hand pieced that in only 3 months. I can't wait to see it when it is quilted. What a treasure--hand pieced AND hand quilted!!

    Mh... good question... I called it "finished" because a) it's now big enough for the bed I had in mind and b) I used up the brown fabric I used for the outer border at the top and bottom. However, thinking about it now, I maybe should put another dark brown strip (it's actually bias tape... still have a few yards) and some of the brown fabric on the sides? It's bed sheet fabric, so easy to order some more and with a width of 250cm it's long enough to serve as borders without piecing.

    What do you guys think? Should I make the border go all around?
