Hello and welcome from Missouri! I would go to Quilterscache.com and look at the patterns. There is a get starter introduction.
Another option would be to check out the tutorials here on this forum. Look around, see what you like and go from there. Practice sewing a good quarter inch seam. Work on getting your practice pieces to the size you want. Press your seams open. Just a start. :lol:
