    I use a head lamp. It's adjustable .... and I find that if the light is between my eyes and my project for a long time, the light bothers me. With the head lamp, the light is above and I tend not to "see" it if that makes any sense.

    I have one of those head lamps but I cannot wear it for very long as it ends up giving me a headache. I am going to try out a light that my dh has that is battery operated and hangs around the neck. I have a feeling it will be a bit too large and heavy but it's worth a try. Co-incidentally I bought a pair of those led lights that hook on each side of your glasses for my dh for Christmas yesterday. He can try them out (and so can I!) and if they work well, I will get a pair also. Thanks again for the ideas.
