Looks like a wallhanging to me. Do you have an enclosed porch? A sheltered solid door? Could hand in the kitchen or dining room. As others have suggested, add borders, etc, quilt and hang.

I agree with Nena about using the star border. I would pick out the primary colors in the "panel" to use for the stars.

Seems as if everyone likes your "mystery" panel. It would make a great wall hanging on a sun porch!!

I don't know why you did either but I love it. I have some wildlife material of almost everything I have seen up close or done, like deer for when I used to deer hunt and fish because I used to fish all the time, black bears because I see them when I go to the mountains. I hope you find a way to use this as it looks bee u ti ful!

I really like it I would like to know what it would like once you started working on it. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I have that exact panel, with a coordinating plaid fabric, which makes me think it was supposed to be a wall hanging.

I bought someone else's stash, and the panel was in it, so don't know what it was meant to be. it really doesn't matter what it was meant to be, just what it becomes! I plan to make it into a large lap or small twin size quilt. I'll add some of the colors in the panel, as well.

Super cute panel! Add a border and you'll have an adorable quilt. I call them "cheater" quilts, but you still can quilt them creatively and they are special when you add a border and backing. I've made many for little people, panels with extra batting for warmth and then quilted them and have many a happy little boy or girl hanging on to them.

My intake: Separate the blocks, use top curve, make white isoceles triangles underneath like door window, rectangular shape to the left, black border, square blocks, around, joined by black border.. Have seen this pattern in store.. Hard to explain.
