    Thanks! Yes, I had crawfish, gumbo, jambalaya, a po'boy and everything else I could find that I had never had!!!!

    NOLA definitely has amazing food LOL

    I live 100 miles for New Orleans and never go there... I like your quilt and I eat crawfish we have this in Mississippi

    You've captured the essence of New Orleans - great quilt! I first visited there in '72 or 3, and gained 7 lbs in one week-back when I didn't do that at the mere sight of a donut. What a place to enjoy eating and gracious, melodious living!!

    I think the only thing you forgot was the Mardi Gras beads!!! I recognize ALL of those fabrics!! (Moved from New Orleans last June after 38 years there!!). Congrats on making a great New Orleans memory!

    The beads are going to be part of the edging LOL ... so nope, didnt' forget them! You just haven't seen them yet!
