"Unsewing" is a bit kinder/gentler and may keep you from venting your frustration on the hapless border.

I hope you got that ripping done by now. It is not as fun as peeling a sun burn. I get the threads all over my socks and then It gets all over my rugs in the other rooms.

I used to think that someday my seam ripper would be a tool I owned that would never be used again.... many decades later I still have that dream.

I feel your pain. At first I really didn't like my ripper, but I find it is with me more and more as I get older and keep on sewing when I am tired, or just about anything. I am capable of reviewing what I need to do several times and still sew it wrong. I think it is a part of the ADHD or ADD syndrome. I've got one or the other....no never been diagnosed, but do know that it is true.

Yep sounds like me I usually have two quilts going and either rip stitches or put it down and work on the next one.

Maybe the needle came first with the seam ripper not too far behind? Do you suppose a cave lady (or cave man) ripped stitches?
    PS. I feel your pain!

I feel your pain! I have ripped many a seams. You are brave to tackle 3 at once. But I know the end results will be beautiful! Carry on.

Bought myself a moustache trimmer at Wal-Mart last week. Works like a charm for ripping stitches, even paper piecing stitches. Doesn't rip the paper.

I can feel your pain. Perhaps nobody would realize there was a mix up in border fabric, however, you did and know doing anything other than ripping seams and replacing the borders would be responsible for your peace of mind. I would "step away from the seam ripper", grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate or other favorite beverage as well as your favorite chocolate, take a deep breath and relax. If necessary, work on another project, watch a favorite TV show or movie and tomorrow is another day.
