Linda, what a lovely machine and cabinet! Is the cabinet birdseye maple? I have a dresser with a similar decorative pattern to the ones in each cabinet door. It's made of the birdseye. I've never known how old it is -- thinking 1930's might be about right!

I don't know, will have to ask DH who is more up on wood than I am. We traveled up to Spokane a few years ago to purchase this machine. The cabinet is very nice.
