    I agree with Texas Sunshine. They look as though the corners match as they are and if you cut them into four patches, you will (1) weaken the seams as they are now and (2) risk never being able to put them back together so that the corners meet. Why make things harder than they have to be? froggyintexas

    Why cut them? these make this top...alternating with a solid square.

    Obviously this one uses the light/white in the middle

    I made the one above using 8.5" blocks.

    I made the one below for my neighbor using 6.5" (before sewing into quilt) blocks

    justflyingin thanks for pointing that out. I have some fabric that I have been trying to figure out what quilt it would work best in and this is perfect.

    If I were you, I'd do what Luana said with all the ones with dark centers and make one like mine with the light centers.
