    I'd go with what Jon and Macybaby said. The Singer screwdrivers I've seen don't have the collar and Greist made most of the attachments for the other manufacturers.

    You are all right - the ones that came with my Featherweights did not have a collar on them. So much for my powers of observation! Sorry about that!

    I had one like this on my old pfaff. I would use it on any machine that it would fit. I keep all of the various screw drivers for my machines all in one box.

    came with my 1951 singer 15. which my dear hubby bought from the orginal owners 40 years ago for $20

    My Singer Featherweight 221 had one in the case when I bought it. Not sure if it was original with that machine or if the previous owner just stuck it in there.

    One like this was with the 1949 White I bought at an estate sale. There was also a smaller one I assumed was for changing needles.

    I do believe I saw that screwdriver's picture in a Singer maintenance manual or owner's manual. The text was giving instructions to take that particular screwdriver and apply it to whichever screw, etc. I think they came with the Singer 221 Featherweight. I have several of them, myself, and they are most handy. They were made for sewing machines.

    My mother had one similar looking and I think it was from a 1950's Domestic machine.
