Wouldn't that be fun? The Amish lady who sometimes finishes my quilts has her own quilting shed. It's not small, is separate from the house, and is where she can work on her quilts in comfort. :-)

Would love to have one that would be a quilting studio. These are so cute.

This would be a wonderful solution for my sewing space when we move to our retirement house in the mountains! #11 would be just the ticket! But in teal.

I love # 4. These are so cute, but not large enough to hold much.

Leah Day just had an article about the shed they put in her backyard for more quilting/crafting space. Saw an adorable shed here with front porch and we talked about it but at almost 69 and with the heat and final cost with insulation and electric and AC, not to mention no bathroom/water, decided I am too old for this. They sure are cute and if I was 10-20 years younger who knows.

Default quilting room my she shed

I know that my post may make some of you droll but I am going to risk posting this picture. We had an outdoor pool while our grandson lived with us, then my husband wanted to build a building around it. Then when our grandson moved he decided to fill it in since we rarely got in it. At first I was upset then he said---I thought you might like it for a quilting room. Well that was just the right thing to say. He really had an ulterior motive. He didn't like my "stuff" in every room lol. Well needless to say I feel blessed to have all this space.

BettyB, that's just the best room ever! Your husband is a keeper! No matter his motivation!

Love the idea of the she-shed and pub-shed!
