    I wash (or steam press) everything that can be - before I cut it - just on general principles.

    Sort of like washing my hands before I start cooking. Just part of my drill.

    Thank you for this site. I just contacted them and asked for a pattern or kit to make my first bag, but then I'll make some more to send also. I've got so much fabric that I need to make something for someone that needs it.

    DebbieJJ--I have too much fabric also but do not have kid fabrics, hope I can still help.

    Best contact them for more questions about fabric choices, the address is about an hour from me. A good project for the children.

    Me,too. I don't have children's fabric, either --- but I love to look at it and this will give me a great excuse to actually buy some to make some of these bags and - maybe - a quilt.
