    Ron's is the simplest method I've seen yet-thanks! The Bear Paw was the one, thank you! Eleanor is so great at the step by step to get the concepts in your head-then I can confidently use Ron's method, not dure if I'm making sense, but I know what I mean :-) I appreciate the help everyone!

    Try her "Christmas at Bear Paw ranch" video? I think that is the dark red you are remembering.....but my go to source for a new method is always youtube. Try searching under "mitering quilt borders"?

    Great tutorial on mitered borders by Ron. I was also taught to join all border (inner, middle, outer, etc.) and treat them as one when mitering. Just make sure to increase the length of each one as you progress outward. Have tried it and it works out really well.
