Totally agree. Living alone I sometimes ask questions which I can't figure out and I know my quilting friends will not be able to answer.
This sight is wonderful 24/7 .

I, too, must agree. Some mornings I spend too much time here, but I enjoy it so much, the quilters are so helpful and friendly. Let's face it - Quilters are wonderful people.

Wonderful site, with wonderful people. I had the pleasure of meeting a board member IRL...and we are now friends. And I agree that quilters are great people.

I totally agree with your assessment of this site. Everyone here has been helpful, inspirational, supportive and kind. Most of all everyone has been generous with their advice, suggestions, time, knowledge, praise, encouragement and willingness to share their expertise and experience with all of us. Thank you so much. I always look forward to open up my daily digest and spend some quality time on the entire site. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to be part of such an awesome and talented group. May you all have a sewsome day and week.

I get on here and lose track of time or I look at the clock and think i'll read just one more post, repeatedly, then rush around like a mad dog going nowhere!

I agree 100 percent! As a semi-newbie, I never worry that my questions will be thought trivial or self apparent. There is always someone here that will give me kind, considerate advice, or make me rethink a brilliant idea I've come up with

I couldn't agree more! I have learned a lot of the basics of quilting here. Just took my first live class the other day (wool appliqué) and the instructor wanted to know who had taught me. I replied, "YouTube & QuiltingBoard.com". Everyone in the class wanted to join. Even seasoned quilters were impressed that I knew basic stitches and information just by reading info on this board. You guys are truly amazing!!!

I agree with you as well. Not only have I gotten the answers to many questions as well as helpful advice, I have also made some friends along the way as well. Quilters are a special breed of people, kind, helpful and always willing to answer any questions or give advice, plus they are very, very friendly and special people.

great site--lots of good info and support and I love seeing what others are making. One thing I learned quickly is I need to limit my jumping on until I'm ready to sit for the evening--otherwise I don't get to my sewing and quilting!
