    Beautiful quilt. Many thanks to your grandson and many other men and women who fight for freedom in our wonderful country. I remember the feeling when my son got on that plane to go to the Persian Gulf to fight for our country. Thanks for sharing.

    Terrific quilt and so special with your grandson in it! Actually it brings tears to my eyes - my DH walked away from me exactly like that for 13 months tour of duty in Korea on the DMZ and we were expecting our first child. That child is now 46.
