    i love the scrappiness of it. if you're great at quilting, use a variegated thread, otherwise black. i love the border too.

    I would echo quilt the stars in black and use variegated thread in the strings following the seams

    Love the setting you did. Do you want the quilting to show or blend? I think a bright variegated thread would look awesome on the black and hide on the pieced blocks. If I were quilting it I might echo the star and alternate baptist fan the blocks. And then echo around the border blocks. This vibrant quilt doesn't need a lot of fancy quilting to set it off. It speaks for itself. Love it.

    Wow,I like this. Felt kinda of silly cause the first thing I noticed was the fabric. I'm a little nervous using scraps! Then all of a sudden the stars popped at me. Great job!
