    Kudos for your creativity in solving a problem. I had the same issue when cutting strips and a friend mentioned she had a Slidelock and I tried hers. Needless to say, I purchased one. It is amazing and worth every cent. Here is the link for reference: http://www.quiltersslidelock.com/

    I'm not seeing pictures show up on my iPad. Do they show up for other people?

    There aren't any pictures (photos) in this thread - just a diagram made with text characters.

    Thank you for sharing. Cutting well means that I am more likely to have a straighter quilt. Every trick helps.
