Oh my , i am so sorry. I went through that last year. tons of things lost, broken, ruined. No quilts missing that i know of but bedding and such for sure. I may never know all that is gone. found some in wrong rooms, so that was good. I do so hope someone sees this and can help. There is no excuse for shoddy work from anyone!

After having just gone thru a move (very stressful but so far, nothing lost--just misplaced, Who would put a box labeled 'pantry' in a bedroom??) I am so sorry for your horrible experience. If the moving company is unable to rectify the situation, I would certainly be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I would also be naming names when talking about the experience.

This is a popular web site for quilters-- maybe you can ask to have your situation posted on their web site. http://www.quilterscache.com/MISSINGQUILTS.html Maybe someone would notice your photo and offer a lead on your missing boxes.

What an unfortunate loss...but I have heard a few stories about missing items by moving companies. I'm afraid it happens quite often. When I moved from California to Maine, I transported my grandmother's china and a few sentimental (irreplaceable) items in my own car rather than on the moving truck because of similar stories.

I hope your quilt(s) miraculously show up.

i do not mind...and appreciate the help in getting the word out...the quilt top is large - at least 86x98...its bonnie hunters pattern but the pumpkin fabric is what is noticeable...also the black is not a solid, but has very faint pattern that cant be seen until you get up close...i still have the binding made!!!...i hope finding this leads to my other boxes being found...THANK YOU....
