DH and I go to bed at two thirty AM and get up about eight AM. He worked the late shift for so long we can't get tired before that time. When we go to bed early we can't fall asleep. I have always had much more energy at night.

I am a night person, but when I was still working I would wake up about 15 minutes before the alarm would go off. I wanted my time, and cup of coffee before starting my day.

If I'm unable to sleep I'll work in my sewing room, cut fabric or read. The other day I woke up early so cleaned the whole bathroom before anyone else was awake.

Love the early morning quiet!! I go to bed between 9:30 and 10, up at 5 a.m..Outside to feed birds and water garden and flowers before the rest of the household gets up. I have to keep busy to be happy and will often do laundry, sweep and mop, dust furniture or do some hand sewing until I feel safe to make noise.
