Are you doing panels because of the time? Because they are so many quilt top ideas that are masculine. Google masculine quilts and hundreds will come up, whether it is sports related, hunting, fishing or any other outdoorsy thing. I like to make smaller lap throws (think at a game or napping in the big living room chair) from plaid flannels or homespun plaids. Doing simple squares or a large rail fence will go very quickly.

Hancocks Paducah has good ones...some even in the sale sections here:

There are lots of great blenders in their sale sections, too, including many batiks under $7/yard. You can easily lose yourself scrolling through the many offerings in the sale section!

Bear Creek Quilting has panels that are real nice and so does Nancy's Notions. Both good to do business with!

I was at Joanns and saw many panels for men at $6.99 on sale last week. Look on their website.

Connecting Threads is another source. One of my favorite quilts is a sampler quilt from a panel that I cut apart and hand quilted around each design. When the quilting was finished it looked like it was appliqued. I receive so many compliments on it and the only ones who know I did not actually hand applique each piece is the friends who bought the same panel. BTW I am the only one who did anything with mine and there were at least five others who purchased the panel, this was about 20+ years ago. I have even received compliments from other quilters. There are some beautiful panels that you can do so much with. No I don't feel it is cheating, I am still putting it together and quilting it. Just a different way.

Our new JA's which took over our Hancock's does not carry panels. Nor does our Ben Franklin.

They don't release until next month, but I really like these panels:

Oh my! So many replies. I looked at all the suggested sites. I spent a lot of money. I ordered from equilter, fabricdepot, Nancy's Notions and one other but can't remember the name. I ordered moose panel, bear panel, a couple of landscape ones and a fishing one for hubby. One abstract one for nephew(I wasn't even planning to do one for him) and a couple of Xmas ones. I also saw a Star Trek panel that I will order after Xmas. That one will be for me. I am excited and looking forward to receiving my orders.
Thank you, everyone. QB is the best quilting forum...IMHO.
