Thank you for the information. My sister and I will be going next week to check them out.

The last time I saw a Ben Franklin was when I lived in Syracuse and they had nice fabric, and the prices were great. I bought a lot.
Haven't seen that store in years. I doubt there are any in Columbus.
I remember them as a child in New York

I bought tons of fabric when our ben frankin went out of business here. There were two stores close by and I took full advantage of the going out of business sale. I loved the high end fabric lines they carried like a quilt store. I also got some really nice wool blends and chef's apron weight fabrics.

I am wondering if they are still on line? There for a while they were.

My DH takes business trips to Des Moines Iowa several times a year and he always goes to Winterset to the Ben Franklin and brings me home panels that are a great price and different than what I have seen online. He also gets himself some homemade jellies they sell! Dee

I loved the one in Hollywood, FL. I bought the fabric for a bargello quilt for my oldest DGD there about 20 years ago. I really missed the store when it closed.

I've been to the BF in Marquette, MI. I love their fabric choices. Name brand quilt store fabric. The women are so nice and will assist if needed. The BF from my childhood did not carry fabric.

There is one about 30 miles from me I love to go to. They are individually owned so there are different items in the stores. The fabric on bolts are LQS quality and less I. Price. Flat folds vary, you have to really look at thread count. Some art thin. Love going to the store.
