    GeriB - I'm asking if there is a different way to finish, rather than adding more "windows" ... I'm thinking of just sewing down the edges and leaving them black

    I would add more windows. If you're wanting to keep the "break", use a dark fabric (e.g. dark gray).

    MarionsQuilts I don't know what technique you used in making your cathedral windows, which are beautiful BTW. I did see a technique done on YouTube that seemed easier than most but your saying you don't want to make any more so I am confused about what you are looking for. Perhaps you could clarify so you don't keep getting the wrong suggestions.

    Most CW are just ended as is, but I guess you could add a border or two....btw what is the size now?

    I like it just as it is. I would sew down sticking up places and enjoy (for whoever the lucky person is.)
