    Boston, did you tell me once that you should put vertical rows every other? Not saying this right but I mean the small squares one way and the long ones the other way?

    Yes, I was told that it would lay better if each one had its little "streets" running north to south, and then east to west.

    I think I could do that in front of my DH, and he would never ask what I'm doing or who it's for ... although occasionally he does, and that, of course, would be the time.

    Beautiful! I had to look twice as it reminds me so much of the one I made DD in 2006.

    My problem would be remembering where I "hid" his gift come Christmas time
