Sometimes the music in a TV ad is so striking. Several times I have googled the ad to see the name and performer of the song.

"Plop, plop, fizz, fizz. Oh, what a relief it is!" and also "I can't believe I ate the whole thing"

I hate the commercial with the little girl complaining she has no matching socks. I feel this is a negative example for kids to see. I think she is just a brat. IT is for some kind of a closet system.

Hi Bearisgray, I've been missing your wonderful observations on life. Glad to see you back!

One of my favorite commercials was that little dog who was having a nervous breakdown about where to put his bone to keep it safe. He'd bury it and then dig it up, and put it somewhere else. Finally he put it in the bank... the ad's sponsor's, of course. I can't remember the bank, but I surely remember that poor little doggie!

Do any of you remember the Oscar Meyer Weiner song and commercial? My parrot whistles that tune. (So do I---that's how he learned it! )
Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner,
That is what I'd truly like to be-ee.-ee
For if I were an Oscar Meyer weiner,
Everyone would be in love with me!

Me too. I could hear only that one only. I use to love the Hamms commercial with the bear in the boat. Loved it.

Now days I still love the hershey kisses ringing like bells. My most favorite one is the M&Ms running into Santa and they all faint finding out the other does exist.

I love the Budweiser Clydesdales commercials. Thinking of songs with the commercials, the first one that came to mind was the Hamms Beer and the Land of the Sky Blue Water tune. But the one I liked the most was the one for Coke, "I'd like to teach the world to sing...

As I recall, that was known as the "tissue issue" at the time! Northern was made by James River Corp and they got lots of letters from quilters.
