Your whole family must be so proud, as well as you should be too! It is fun to try new things and your 'playing' turned out great!

Thanks for all the nice comments! I love making tee shirt quilts because you know the recipient is going to love it cause it's part of them. This Christmas I made one for a friends daughter and she recorded it when it was being opened, the excitement is just so cool to see. And I love taking a messy pile of wrinkled and sometimes stained tee shirts and giving them a new life!

Also, Terricat -- our team is comprised of several schools and we are soooo fortunate that a local business has given us a section in their plant/warehouse. So the quilt will be happy there. When we win awards we usually pay for extra trophies so they can be displayed in all the schools.

And Jingle -- I hope your grandson is enjoying his time on the team. There are several organizations which host/lead the robotics events, with VEX and FIRST being the most popular in the mid west. My girls were on a FIRST team. What is so cool it it's not just about the game and the robots....so many life lessons that are taught and rewarded.

It's great to see this quilt. I am starting my first ever t shirt quilt for grand daughter.
