I buy the Overstock batting as does the Project Linus group I belong too. I use this one 80/20, and have never paid for shipping. I spray baste with the rough side up so the needle goes down through it to the back when quilting. It is very good stuff. I have used Hobb's 80/20 and that is nice as well. I prefer to have a roll available. I have a QOV group that meets in my home so we need batting.

Tuckeyquilter. I saw their 80/20 but wished they had the 120 x 20 yds as I tend to make queen and king size quilts so would have to piece them together. That's the only problem I see with their batting so far. Thinking of buying a small package of their batting for an oversized lap quilt to see how I like it. Thanks for your insight on the stuff. What exactly is scrimp as I've never really understood it or which side should be facing the backing?
