    Just looking at the last two rows: the bottom row of 6inch pieces comes out to 30 inches. The next row up totals 21 inches plus the two 4inch patches, which is 29 inches total. I did not check the other parts for total inches.

    I think you added incorrectly, I got 30, not 29. Anyway, it doesn't matter, the finished top looks beautiful!
