I would strongly suggest reading your printer manual. I didn't and tried exactly what you are attempting and killed my printer. After the major major jam, I looked at the manual (looking for info on how to disassemble and repair) and it pretty much said it will print plain paper only, Mine did not even allow for thicker paper like card stock. So I ended up with a new printer......

I solved the problem by buying sheet size labels, putting the fabric on, then trimming to size. Works like a charm.

I use a piece of tape when putting mine through the printer. I also found I want my paper tray only about 1/2 full or less. I found it would jam again with a full tray.

I used the product for cards. Spray until damp and let dry. Press with iron. You can spray again if you want it stiffer.

Well, I really do appreciate all the ideas. I tried most of the suggestions, and think I may just go with fabric sheets, even though I don't want to spend the money. I have a Canon MX472 printer, and I scanned through the manual, and it doesn't say anything about card stock etc.

Ok, I did find this about the manual feed -- always hard to figure out when you put in model numbers whether what you get back,

Basically anything you can do like this instead of using the paper feed tray can help.

On my printer, I have to take all the paper out except the one I am printing on.

I'm lost. I've never used freezer paper or printed on fabric with ink jet printer. Can someone point me at a tutorial to explain what you are doing.
