It's a little older, but Earlene Fowler wrote a good mystery series with quilt titles, featuring quilter Benni Harper. The first in the series was Fool's Puzzle.

If you go to goodreads.com and put "quilts" or "quilting" in the search box, a bunch of different novels will pop up.

I love Ann Hazelwood’s books. She’s written several series about quilting mysteries.

Thanks for reminding me of some old friends, Elm Creek, Bostwick and Dallas and then introducing me the Quilts and Kilts Books. By the way, if you are language sensitive, Quilts and Kilts uses some language and innuendos that may be mildly offensive. I listened to a sample of Book 1. The sample may have been chosen for its "effect".

By the way, I read the Christmas Boutique this holiday season. It is a return to Elm Creek and provides some of the back stories and inner workings of relationships between of the Elm Creek Quilters. It was very nice to spend the day after Christmas with my Elm Creek friends. It takes place one year after the wedding of Sylvia and Andrew and before the birth of the twins.

The elm creek series was one of the 1st and the best. So many tried to do the same thing but they can't beat Elm Creek. I was so disappointed that she stopped writing the elm creek series and turned to Lincoln. I read the Christmas Boutique also it was great light reading with a Christmas theme. .

Patchwork Mysteries by Guideposts. I read all 27 novels. Guidepost Magazine sponsors the book series. Each book has a different author. Wonderful mystery stories all involving a quilt. You receive 1 book a month.
