Beautiful! Bear Paw is one of my favorite blocks. And the batiks look fabulous! Sounds like a great technique with the edges.

I know it is a bear's paw pattern but on my screen it appears to be beautiful colored flowers popping through forest green grass. Either way it is lovely. The baptist fan quilting gives just a little motion but does not over whelm the colorful paws/flowers.

Beautifully made and the fabric choices are wonderful. I also love the quilting.

You've made a really wonderful quilt! It is so beautiful. I love all the empty space around the bear paws - so much nicer than having them so close together. The colors are sumptuous. And I have done the baptist fan on my Tiara, so I know how much work that was. A great project.
