Are they cheaper in the US? The price is eye-watering in the UK!

Are you asking about rulers you use your rotary cutter with of rulers you use to machine quilt with?

I have lots of rulers. Many I bought for a class. One I bought was Creative Grids Scrap Crazy block ruler. It is a lot of fun and perfect for scrap pieces.
It comes in five, four, or three sets pieces.
I have the four piece set called crazy six for some reason. There are a couple books of patterns for it.

SKW Quick Curve or Quick Curve Mini. Or Bloc Loc rulers in whatever size you most often make, in either HST or FG. Or, if you use a lot of strips, the Stripology original.

I'm amazed at how often I pull out my large square rulers - 18 1/2 and 20 1/2 - they work great for squaring up corners on quilts. Last night I was making some quilted pouches and needed 11 1/2 inch strips. I laid my square ruler down and it was very easy to cut the strips. They were a great purchase.

I find I use my 16.5" square ruler frequently, not so much for huge blocks but to trim corners of projects to square them up.

My favorite quilting template ruler is the Quilters Rule captured rope foot https://quiltersrule.com/individual-...l&category=925. I love it on borders, and the tool makes four different sizes.

Oh! Such awesome suggestions! So much eye candy!

Thanks Peggi for asking for clarification. I was thinking 'piecing' rulers! ♥

If you are looking for ideas for different kinds of DSM quilting rulers, check out Quilters Rule and Sew Steady. I've purchased quite a few of their quilting rulers for machine quilting. Make sure you get the size you need for your shank.

I use this ruler much more then I thought I would. I bought it for the Radiant Star pattern and class. It's great for on point settings
