    Default Strawberry and cheddar

My friend and I like to go to tea rooms. We came across a delicious sandwich but could not figure out the ingredients. The tea room owner told us it was strawberry jam and shredded sharp cheddar cheese. We have been making them ever since!

My mom told me that when she was a kid during the depression, she frequently had raw onion sandwiches. I think that she was trying to drive home some point, but I'm not sure exactly what that was.

This brings back memories of a friend. Our favorite was open face. Toast, bacon, baked beans, slice tomato and cheese.

moving across USA we stopped at Subway, daily. Distinct flavor. Good, but, It’ll be a long time before I willingly have another.

The food in Florida is high in fat! Must be very diligent or be a blimp.

Hubby and I bought some good bacon to make BLT's this weekend. I usually don't eat pork, but I have been craving a piled high one with potato salad.

I grew up in Iowa, and I made peanut butter, banana, and onion sandwiches.

I've had them all but the Shrimp cake sandwich. Although I have had boiled shrimp on a sandwich with mayo and lettuce. Yum! The strangest one I have had and possibly the simplest were finger sandwiches at a wedding shower. Mayonnaise and dried parsley on white bread. It was interesting. Never had it again but made cute little sandwiches.
