    I have seen beautiful fabric stretched over canvas to display on the wall as art.

    I don't know how you dress in the summer but, this would be a very pretty skirt. You could wear it with a denim top to dress it down for everyday wear. I don't know if you're into ironing though. which you would have to do if you wore it in the heat.
    I think that if you wanted to dress up your clothes closet, you could make dust covers to keep your clothing safe from the perils of the dust that spring and late fall winds brings. Or cover hat boxes to store scarves and belts in. It would be really pretty to see that when you opened your closet.
    I also think that if you quilted it up that summer big bags would be a great option. After all the fish and sea life is prominent in the print.

    Hmm, would that ever make a fantastic long " bohemian" gathered skirt! 2 tiers, depending on your height and that of the repeat.
