    If it was Robert Kauffman Kona that is a big surprise it bled. I've never had Kona bleed before. I'll be sure and test for bleeding of the red color. Thank you.

    CORRECTION: I just realized the red I used was NOT Kauffman Kona. It has a small vine print in it, and isn't a solid. I'm so sorry to have misguided you. If you've never had a Kona fabric bleed, I'm impressed with that and would certainly try them again!

    I'm glad it wasn't Kona. That is one brand I trust. I test most fabric for bleeding by cutting a small piece, putting it on white cotton and iron it dry. I have had one lavender fabric bleed like crazy. You never know. Most times I don't want to pre wash but I always test each fabric.
