    I don't understand how pinning to the bottom will make any difference when I already keep sides "justified" with centering tape and pinning.....
    And my friend, who has the exact same set up does not have this problem which leads me to believe it must be something to do with take up/winding the quilt....

    I anchor top and bottom of backing, float batting and top (after anchoring the top with a basting line done with channel locks)...

    I think my problem must be something to do with rolling the quilt and you seem to have a bit of a line on what might be wrong here... maybe if I roll using the opposite side to lock....
