Third Weekend in October
#12
Beautiful! I wasn’t around back when you all must have gotten this pattern, at least, I wasn’t around in the quilting world. I have always wanted to make a quilt with leaves and I think this would be IT. It reminds me of my mother-in-laws piles of leaves she raked until she was 90, died at 96. Love it! Will probably go blind when I try to graph it out one day, but I will try-not to go blind-lol- to graph it!

Dunster, what a beautiful quilt! I could say, "I want to make one too" but I know that desire and drive are two different things. The colors are just glorious and the blue background is like the blue sky that shows off the color choices of autumn so well. Bask in your lovely effort that reminds us of the "Third Week of October".
I was hoping to see your pup and ta-da!

First of all, blue is my favorite color. Aaaand my name is Autumn! How could I not be in love with your quilt! I usually design my own from an idea that sparks. In this case, I am gonna need the pattern. So, here I go in search. Yes, my birthday is in October.

Wow, that quilt is really a stunner. I made a sampler quilt that had a part of it made like this. It was something you had to keep your mind on what leaf part went where all the time I worked on it. I really love your ability to make one in this size.

Dunster your quilt is exquisite and perfect in its color choices and quilting. I can't imagine the time and effort into making it, so while I totally love it, it won't be making it. LOL So glad your dog made the photo shoot!
