    Pumpkin, I think your tablerunner is adorable! As others said just give it a good press. I've also made them and didn't think they were "perfect" but when all is said and done they are.

    The table runner is now in as bad of shape as it will get. The shrinkage has happened and some stretching can straighten it out if you think it looks cockeyed. Be glad none of the fabrics ran into each other. I think table runners are to be used and since I use mine on the table we eat from, mine get food on them and are frequently washed. They seem to settle into their own after a while. That's a cute table runner you made. Nice pattern and fabrics. Enjoy it.

    I myself am shrinking so I don’t get over excited about fabric shrinkage 😄

    I'm not seeing anything to put me off. I think it will make a lovely gift. Please don't point out any "flaws" to the recipients. Just present it to them with washing instructions. They will be thrilled.

    Yes, please do not run your work down to others. My mother in law made beautiful creative quilts, but she was physically incapable of showing them to someone without listing every flaw. Let people form their own opinions out your work! I guarantee that they will have a kinder view of it than you will!
