Okay, another thing to add to my list. Question. I notice that the yo-yo centers seem to be finished. Mine are always raw in the center, and I can't seem to get them to turn under. suggestions?

Duh........ saw that you turn down the raw edge BEFORE you do the running stitch. I have the yo-yo maker and never thought of that. Gotcha ya now.

I love flowers, and with all the snow we have had in the last two months, it might be a while before I see real ones. Hmmm, maybe I can make some fabric flowers, the next best thing. Thanks for the tutorial.

The quilt block is 10 1/2 inches square. The leaf pattern is fused onto the block then stitched around the outer edge.
If you have questions I'll try to answer them. I hope the tutorial is understandable.
    Happy flower making!

ps My friend was using this technique with much smaller squares and putting a magnet on the back. Hers looked like sunflowers. I don't remember how she covered the center.
Where did you find the leaf pattern?????? I love these flowers and will definately give it a try.
