I have a Janome and couldn't be happier. It has never given me a bit of trouble.

Hi and welcome. This is a fun place to play or just hang around. Try the chat room sometime.
I have a Janome Gem Silver and a Janome 6600. Love them both and have had no problem with either. The 6600 has a great detailed book that is a big help, especially when you have to travel a great distance. I gave my Gem Silver to my grand daughter when she became pregnant. Bought a Bernina 210 to take to class at church. I like it, but really like the Janomes better. Hope this helps.

Hello and welcom from Virginia. I have a Berniina 440 and love it. It is computerized so I had to take mine to my dealer and have him up-date the softwear ocassionally. There may be a way tohave that done from the Bernine websit but I am not good with computers. Mine does have the stick regulator for machine quilting which is very helpful to allow you to have even stiches when you quilt. Good luck in your shopping and quilting.
