These are wonderful quilts! The last one has lovely quilting on it, plainly visible in the dark areas.

And did you notice...the maker was so frugal (or used up what she had?) that she pieced a couple of those red/white plaid squares to finish out her block?

Thank you for sharing your find, enjoyed the look!

I pulled out some fabrics for a 1930s repro quilt last night. Getting ready to start on it.

The longarm should be here in about 3 weeks or so. Hard to be patient! :D

How excited you must be. Just wait until you get to start playing with the longarm. Please, take pics and post your first practicing and then 6 months from now post some more. You will be surprised at the difference. I'm happy for you so now I'm going to go play since it's been a long time since I've done anything but pantographs. I need practice.

Can't wait to see your next creation. I'm envious you're getting a longarm...I bet it's hard to be patient...I'd be going crazy!

I like the quilts and I think I like the $5 one the most. It looks snuggly, like it was someones sleeping blanket. Well loved and well used.

what treasure, we just don't get really old quilts here, any that are about are snapped up by dealers/collectors at prices that are just daft ie £100's.
