I was even terrified to give my daughter a bath. I was so afraid of the lightning hitting us and god forbid I can even say it!!!

I'm in east TN and we are high and dry. No rain today, only bright sunshine and hot temp. They are calling for flash floods for our area tonight though so we will see.

Prayers for all those who are having bad weather.

My Sil lives in west TN and several of their roads were closed and people could not get to Jackson, TN. SIL is o.k. though.

Just got home from helping friends move their campers to higher ground. The river is still rising. I am glad for everyone who got through the weekend unhurt and sad for those who did get hurt and/or lose property.

SIL sent me a text, Opry Land Mall is under water and they are trying to get out 1200 people out of the hotel. 158 streets and hwys closed in the Nashville metro area, and 23 schools in the metro area are closed with undetermined damage. It is so hard to imagine....

i am watching the news here in nashville, its god awful. I am afraid to go to bed. Fear of flooding!

SIL just said that one dike is leaking... I am so sorry!!! I would not be able to sleep either...

I hope all of you are safe! We have had rain for 2 days here in Ohio and there are flood warning out, but it won't affect us much since we don't live near a creek or river. All I can complain about is mud! My prayers go out for everyone!

Sewcrazy, I'm on 96 by the MTSU. I came home down Northfield from Memorial last evening and Northfield was flooded deep from Memorial almost out to 96.
