Have you ever looked at the Love Letters pattern? Since it was from her wedding I thought it might be appropriate - may even as gifts

this is going to sound really odd, but with her being a western Kansas farm girl it worked. Her dress had a 12 foot train trimed with the hunter green and lace and beads (which i made with my embroidery machine). The groomsmen wore western tux jackets with black wranglers and cowboy boots. Even the bride wore cowboy boots. Not sure what theme you would go with there! Royal Princess or cowgirl.

I'd definitely go with a crazy quilt, but as amma posted a different fabric on the back so it doesn't slide off the bed!

I love those colors. I'd look at some Amish quilt patterns-the large diamond comes to mind when I picture those colors together; or the Roman stripe pattern. JMHO!

First, is it washable? You may need to iron it onto some stablizer too.

If you have a sewing machine with decorative stitches, the satins would make a beautiful crazy quilt. Use the decorative stitches and beautiful metallic threads.

Whatever you do, use stabelizer on these fabrics or you will go mad. Preferably, the iron on type. Good luck-sound like a wonderful project. Don't forget to share with pictures.
