    Well done! That quilt is absolutely exquisite!!! I completed a tumbling blocks not too long ago, but different in that mine is just an all-over tumble.

    Thanks for all the nice comments. I really appreciate it! It was my 1st attempt at using diamonds (the hard way of course). I had diamonds trailing me all over the house while I was working on this project. I had to keep my cutting mat on top of it while working on it as I didn't get it done at one sitting. I took several photos of the finished wall hanging because I thought I was taking blurry photos. But since all my photos come out the same way I came to the conclusion that the way I did the outside borders of the tumbling blocks or the colors or something I did causes it to appear to have movement. I know combining reds with certain colors can cause the appearance of movement. Not sure why it happened...but I guess someone may know?

    PS...I used wood dowling w/wood beads screwed onto the end of the dowling & spray painted it a dark navy blue.
