For never have sewn anything like this prior I think you are doing great :thumbup:
You have the one block that needs fixed , trust me as the years go by you will be fixing MANY blocks :shock: Ask me how I know :wink: LOL
Once you fix that block , do as the others say find the smallest block and square up the rest to that size .

this is gonna be so cute when it is done. I would have never notice the mistake if you hadn't pointed it out, thought it was suppose to be that way.

Molly, that one square (pictured) take just enough of that corner on each side of the purple apart and sew another piece across the purple large enough to fill in the corner...you can save the size of the block by doing that and it will just add interest to the block. I am a firm believer in "little fixes" to save the block size.

I thought the same as Kherrin, just add aextra piece to that purple and save the size of your block. By the way, I think that is a really cute quilt. I"m still trying to decide on a pattern to use with my ganddaughters clothing.
