    That is lovely, did you use the traditional fabric ?
    It puts my effort to shame.

    Oh, pooh! It does not! Yours is great!

    I don't know if the fabric was "traditional" but it's typical Asian that is easily found here in the islands. The best thing about my experience was the teacher who was a tiny Japanese lady who taught the class. She had lots of stories about the meanings of the patterns, etc. She had also gone to Japan to learn more about sashiko.
