i love them. used them to make the quilt in my avatar, bear claw is easy and with thangles it is fast too. as for peeling the paper off, i just handed the stack to my hubby and let him do it while he watched the ball game.

I used to use them all the time and have a drawer full of different size packages. They make very accurate HST's. You just have to remember to use a smaller stitch and fold along the tear line before you take the paper off.

I have used Thangles for small projects, but I prefer to use pre printed sheets that allow you to make many of the same color combinations. Go to www.quiltime.com to see the various sizes. They are cheaper in the long run than Thangles.

I use Thangles anytime I make HST. It is a quick, easy way and they are perfect every time!

I'm actually working on the Thangles BOM Series 3 that they did at a LQS a couple years ago. They aren't that bad to work with. I do wish that they were a tear away thing though as under the side that they are on feels thicker and I'm not sure if that will cause issues when I quilt it.


OK the Thangles I have are the iron on version. After looking at the link they show the printable ones.
