Thanks QHG I am sending the templates out as fast as I can! I got the 4 1/2" this morning that I am sending out for the 12 1/2" quilt blocks. That one will be the 30 degree mark for the larger size.

So I couldn't get the extended star right so I gave up and did the boston blocks with HST's. I could sit and do these all day.

I think I know what I did wrong. I'm gonna try it again tomorrow and then I will post. Thank you for the comment on my block. I love how those colors worked together.

I tend to work with country prints and it is good to see how other people choose fabric for the same blocks!

I figured out what was wrong. I wanting it to be a 12in block and I couldn't figure out what size templets to use, my brain was shutting down and I couldn't do the math. I am assuming that I need to use a 3 1/2in templet in order to get the 12in block. I don't know why that was so hard for me. If I am wrong please tell me.
