Welcome from Missouri, take light ,medium and dark, scraps add a good background material and have fun. That is what scrapy quilts are all about. If you can not pick a pattern use several and put them togeather.

Welcome from Centennial, Colorado. Whatever looks good to you will be the best advice. I would try a 9 patch or a disappearing 9 patch for your first quilt. Use the search engine and you will find a great deal of help. If you have questions, just ask.

Hello and Welcome to the board :D:D:D
So happy that you joined us!
Random seems to be the key, which is hard for some people. Some just put the pieces into a paper bag, what they blindly pull out is what they use

Welcome to our group as far as scrap quilts go I am the type that needs pattern and direction I have yet to do a scrappy quilt. Some use the paperbag method throw the scraps in and pick them at random this makes some amamzing quilts. I cannot wait to see what you come up with! Take care!
