Ok all I can say is get it fixed and ready to go before the Houston Quilt show. LOL. Seriously thought, I am so glad you were not in it at the time . Parking right on the street is a good idea. People don't realize if you park illiegally, gives the insurance an out. Glad you are okay. Hope the car survives. I pay cash for mine too and like to drive them quite a while. I hate payments of any kind now that we don't work. TIme is clicking till the HQS. Can't wait to meet you. Hugs

Sorry about your car! Hopefully it will fixed in no time, and you will still be able to keep for a long time. Hit and runs are the worst.

So sorry. The same thing happened to me, but I was in it:< Luckily they caught the driver, who was an illegal alien. Witnesses came forward, which doesn't always happen!

I bet the driver was drunk and didn't want to go to jail. He's lost Karma points for sure...

Recently a woman who was bombed out of her mind, hit a man who was walking along the shoulder of a road with several friends. His friends saw her vehicle and could give a pretty good description (very dark) and there was much publicity. She was eventually caught tried and convicted; she had told friends that she thought she'd hit a deer. Unbelievable!! The young man survived but was severely injured and there is uncertainty about what the extent of his recovery will be. She's currently serving her sentence, which IMHO, doesn't seem nearly strong/long enough for what she did.
